Vacancy for: Faculty of Pharmaceutical Engineering
The Faculty of Engineering - Pharmaceutical Engineering and Technology invites applications for the following position effective September 2023.
Job profile:
We are looking for candidates with academic and professional expertise in one or more of the areas of Pharmaceutical Engineering including: Pharmaceutical/Chemical/Bioscience Engineering.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates are expected to be committed to excellence in undergraduate or graduate teaching. Preference will be given to candidates who conducted eminent academic research in the discipline pharmaceutical/chemical/bioscience engineering, which is clearly reflected in publications in high-quality academic journals and peer-reviewed books.

- Candidates should hold a PhD or Professional Doctorate with extensive working experience (at least 3 years) in recognized universities or industrial fields. Preference will be given to candidates who have industrial work experience in the pharmaceutical Industry.
- Candidates should have the capability of initiating and acquiring funding for academic research.
- Successful candidates are expected to be committed to excellence in undergraduate and graduate teaching of various course units in the discipline of Pharmaceutical Engineering.
- Candidates should have experience in leading research group and supervising Master and Ph.D. students.
- Track record of collaborative research and successful supervision
- High capacity to develop pedagogical innovations and to manage a study program
- Excellent communication skills (oral, written, presentation)
- Proficiency in English (oral and written)
