Business Sales Manager (Isolation Valves) [Mexico]


 

Responsibilities

  • Set, Implement and Finish Growth initiatives for our Isolation valves focused on triple offset valves.

  • Update all Product plans.
  • Achieve the assigned budget for the Product families. Responsible for product line goals in orders (tied to Regional Sales Manager and Channel). This as main factor in Performance Review of the employee.
  • Pursue with commercial team the multi region projects with product expertise
  • Conduct Sales and Customer product training
  • Conduct joint sales calls with Channel.
  • Support inside sales and application engineers and assist in their training
  • Maintain Plans aligned with Global Product Leaders
  • Review Product pricing strategies and pricing agreements within the region
  • Drive Approved Vendor Lists & technical specification work at end users
  • Serve as application mentor to the customer, Channel and inside sales and application engineering
  • Lead product trouble shooting when required to support customer and Channel
  • Support product literature creation
  • Identify the Products total potential and update annually
  • Utilize CRM to track all projects (Key & Regional Account and Large vertical projects)
  • Responsible for providing annual feedback to Business Units on competitors and market dynamics
  • Requires 50% to 70% travel with end users and channel

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Industrial valve business with experience in oil and gas / petrochemical industrial processes. Preferred previous experience with triple offset valves.
  • Experience implementing strategic plans, working with executive management , developing/Implementing Programs, Processes and Polices created by analyzing complex issues that results in positive change internally and externally
  • Have thorough knowledge of the portfolio with customers, applications, terminology , purchasing practices and large project pursuit methodology
  • Ability to develop account plans and project pursuit strategies with minimal guidance from management.
  • Strong presentation preparation and delivery skills
  • Demonstrate customer focus by meeting and exceeding customer expectations

Teamwork and interpersonal skills are critical for this position due to the various interfaces internal and external to the organization
