This is an exciting new role, where you will support the Experience Marketing team in the development and execution of marketing activity targeting all international travellers who have chosen New Zealand as their next holiday. The role contributes to the execution of Tourism New Zealand's global visitor experience marketing strategy and will report to the Global Manager Experience Marketing.
The role supports integrated marketing campaign initiatives that will support the recovery and rebuild of the New Zealand tourism sector. It works closely with internal and external partners to deliver activity as well as day to day agency management You'll track campaign performance, constantly looking for optimisation opportunities to ensure success and targets are continuously met.
The role offers someone the opportunity to learn hands on core marketing fundamentals across paid, earned and owned channels in the execution of exciting new campaigns launching in FY24.
What you will need | Ngā pūkenga mō tēnei tūranga
- Tertiary qualification in marketing communications or similar business discipline is preferred
- Passion for and good general knowledge of New Zealand as a destination
- Digital marketing or marketing communications role (1-2 years' experience)
- An appetite to learn and to pick up new skills and experiences
- Able to form and maintain great relationships with internal and external stakeholders
